The other instrument in this duet is the Room, an electronic track comprised of sounds made by objects found in my bedroom as well as sounds that can be heard from my bedroom. Such sounds include a ceiling fan, airplane, birdsong, and a window unit, among others. In this piece, the room is an opressive force, and the subject, through tears, sees only four blurred walls close in around them, captured in a tornado of solitude.
